Development and Communication Director
After 17 years of working in the banking sector, she joined the Association of the Friends of the National Cancer Institute in 2002 and took advantage of her banking knowledge and experience as well as her wide relations network to promote the association’s fundraising activities especially within the banking sector.
Azza got trained in Canada and USA and became member in the AFP “the Association of Fundraising Professionals”
In March 2008, she was the first Executive Director of the “BLADNA” foundation for civil leaders.
In April 2010 Azza became the president of AFP “Association of Fundraising Professionals” –Egypt & MENA chapter, the first chapter in the Middle East and North Africa and was elected to serve at the committee of directorship, Committee of international development and president of “J” district with includes chapter from middle and far east.
Since then she has delivered tens of fundraising educational training and experiential workshops in and outside Egypt. She is also working as fundraising consultant for many prestigious Non-Profit organizations.
Azza has participated in so many conferences and workshops nationally and internationally and she is a co-founder of many NGOs in Egypt serving people with disabilities, hematemesis, and Underprivileged women.
Since June 5th 2015 Azza was assigned to join the Tahya Misr Fund as the Development and Communication Director.
