Mr. Essam Youssef
Over the years “Alabakera” has won the Effie International Award for Sustained Success in December 2019, alongside the best TV program for 3 years (2018, 2019, and 2020) by the Arab Satellite Festival.
Essam Youssef is also the Founder and TV Host of the “17 Goals” TV Program.
Essam Youssef is the author of the number one best-selling novel “1/4 Gram” (53 published editions). In May 2021, the novel won the King of Jordan Prize Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein in the field of Literature for Youth Innovation and Achievement as the best novel in the Arab World.
Essam Youssef has been a member of the Egyptian Writers’ Union since 2008. He is the UNFPA Youth Ambassador in Egypt a member of the Mentor Organization advisory committee since 2009, which aims to promote healthy lifestyles among youth which was founded by Queen Silvia of Sweden in 1994.
